    Εξειδίκευση στην Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία. Συμμετέχει  στο πρόγραμμα του αιμοδυναμικού εργαστηρίου της Πανεπιστημιακής Καρδιολογικής κλινικής, με μεγάλη εμπειρία στην επεμβατικής αντιμετώπιση της στεφανιαίας νόσου, στις σύμπλοκες αγγειοπλαστικές (χρόνιες ολικές αποφράξεις, νόσο στελέχους, βλάβες διχασμών), στην ενδοστεφανιαία απεικόνιση, στη χρήση πλήρως απορροφούμενων stent  στις δομικές καρδιοπάθειές με έμφαση στις διακαθετηριακή αντικατάσταση της αορτικής βαλβίδας (TAVI)  και την διακαθετηριακή επιδιόρθωση της μιτροειδούς.  Επίσης, έχει εκπαιδευτεί  στην εκτέλεση διαφόρων διαγνωστικών εξετάσεων, όπως υπερηχοκαρδιογράφημα - triplex καρδιάς και ανιούσης αορτής ενηλίκων και παίδων, στο εργαστήριο Υπερηχοκαρδιογραφίας (έγχρωμο Doppler, διαθωρακικό και διοισοφάγειο υπερηχοκαρδιογράφημα), δοκιμασίες κόπωσης, holter ρυθμού στο εργαστήριο Βηματοδότησης και holter πιέσεως. Στον ερευνητικό τομέα, κύριοι τομείς ενδιαφέροντος είναι η ευάλωτη αθηρωματική πλάκα, τα πειραματικά μοντέλα στεφανιαίας νόσου, η στένωση αορτής και η επιδημιολογία της στεφανιαίας νόσου και των δομικών καρδιοπαθειών, καθώς και η αρτηριακή υπερταση
