Medical ImagingDiagnostic Department
Salpingography is a diagnostic exam used for uterine and fallopian tube imaging, mainly as part of infertility investigation.
It is an essentially harmless exam and it lasts 3 to 10 minutes. It can cause mild to moderate discomfort of a short period which, in most cases, resembles uterine contractions and menstrual cramps. The right time to undergo a salpingography is the proliferative phase of the menstrual cycle (the first 10 days). The results are available immediately.
The IASO Medical Imaging Department is a center of excellence in the field of imaging of the female pelvis, providing the unique possibility of 3D hysterosalpingography with 3D reconstruction and virtual hysterosalpingography of the uterine cavity with maximum accuracy and diagnostic success.
