Services Provided:

1. Gastroscopy: 
   A minimally invasive procedure for examining the upper gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, duodenum). It is used to diagnose conditions such as ulcers, inflammations, and cancer.
2. Colonoscopy with the water immersion technique: 
   A procedure for examining the large intestine and rectum, aiding in the diagnosis and early detection of conditions such as polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, and colon cancer.
   We have perfected the water immersion technique so as to ensure the procedure is completely painless for the patient, while, at the same time, significantly increasing the physician’s ability to discern during the examination, with the water’s aid.
3. Electronic chromoendoscopy: 
   By using advanced technology and AI, we analyze the mucosa with greater precision and are able to detect even the smallest abnormalities. In parallel, as a result of our multiannual experience, we also apply conventional chromoendoscopy with various stains (Acetic Acid - Indigo Carmine) which help to identify and characterize even the slightest lesions in both the stomach and large intestine.
4. Polyp Removal and Mucosal Resection: 
   Removal of polyps from the entire gastrointestinal tract with the use of endoscopic instruments (removal of both small and large polyps), by applying the official guidelines of United European Gastroenterology (UEG).
5. Ligation of Esophageal Varices: 
   Treatment for esophageal varices in patients with liver disease, portal hypertension, which could cause life-threatening hemorrhage.
6. Endoscopic Hemostasis:
   Our extensive experience in major endoscopic departments both in Greece and abroad enables us to apply all of the techniques used for endoscopic hemostasis and control of gastrointestinal bleeding.
7. Stent Placement: 
   Restoration of patency in the gastrointestinal tract in cases of benign or malignant strictures or obstruction.
8. Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and FNA/FNB: 
   A specialized method for diagnosing tumors and other GI tract conditions using ultrasound, while also being able to perform a biopsy (FNA/FNB).
9. Gastrostomy Feeding Tube Placement: 
   Endoscopic insertion of a feeding tube in patients unable to take food orally (e.g., due to neurological conditions, motor disorders etc.).
10. Endoscopic Procedures for the Treatment of Obesity 
    Placement of a Gastric Balloon, Gastric Botox, and the recent method of Endoscopic Gastric Plication aim to achieve sufficient weight loss or act as a bridge until definitive bariatric surgery.
11. Treatment of Anal Fissures: 
    Treatment for anal fissures causing intense pain and discomfort by using a combination of Botox, APC, Laser, or regenerative factors (PRP).
12. Treatment of Anal HPV Infection:
    Application of specialized methods (APC, Laser, HRA) for the removal and treatment of warts and monitoring of anal dysplasia associated with HPV.
13. Cancer Staging with Endoscopic Ultrasound: 
    Endoscopic ultrasound can be used for cancer staging and for determining the most appropriate treatment plan.
14. Endorectal Ultrasound for Fistulas and Abscesses:
    An advanced technique for diagnosing fistulas or abscesses in the anorectal region.
15. Diagnosis and Treatment of Fecal Incontinence
    Incontinence is a common condition involving a sensitive area and significantly affects daily life and dignity.
    Our diagnostic approach ensures the provision of modern and effective treatment options (neuromodulation, use of regenerative factors – stem cells).
16. Use of Botulinum Toxin (Botox) in Digestive Conditions 
    Botox is safely applied in conditions such as Anal Fissures, Esophageal Achalasia and Obesity, where indicated.
