Migraine is the 2^nd most important medical problem worldwide and the leading cause of disability in people under 50 years of age. It is a chronic neurological disease and is manifested with intense headaches, which are usually accompanied by symptoms such as intolerance to light, noise, nausea, vomiting and the need to rest or lie down. It mainly affects young women and it is often associated with the menstrual cycle. With proper information and treatment, those who suffer from migraines can improve their daily life and have a better quality of life.
