Biopathology Lab Accreditation for Molecular Diagnosis Confirms Once More the Top Level of Services
The Molecular Diagnosis Lab within the IASO Central Laboratories has been accredited by the National Accreditation System (ESYD) to ISO 15189:2012, for the following real-time PCR tests:
- Detection of SARS-CoV-2
- Detection of human papillomavirus (HPV)
- Detection and quantitative DNA determination of human cytomegalovirus (HCMV)
- Detection of influenza types A and B, and subtype A (Η1Ν1)

ISO 15189:2012 is an international standard that sets out the requirements laboratories must meet to maintain a quality management system, and ensure their technical adequacy and the credibility of the results they issue through validated methods of analysis.
