IASO emphasizes the importance of sexual health issues and offers Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) screening tests at preferential prices.
More specifically, it offers the following packages:
- “STDs” testing at the preferential price of 35€: It includes Chlamydia, Ureaplasma and Mycoplasma testing.
- “STDs plus” testing at the preferential price of 90€: It includes Chlamydia, Ureaplasma, Mycoplasma, Gonorrhea, Haemophilus, Herpes, Syphilis and Trichomonas testing.
All tests are performed on the -2nd floor of IASO, Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00. No appointment is needed and the offer shall be valid until 30/10/2020.
The tests are addressed to both women and men. They are performed by the PCR method, which provides high sensitivity and specificity, allowing the detection of microorganisms (e.g. certain mycoplasma and spirochaetes species) that are not detected by conventional methods.
