In addition, Institute of Life – IASO is offering a free consultation on egg cryopreservation from Monday 15/06/2020 to Friday 19/06/2020, by appointment. Any woman who wishes so will have the chance to receive information on fertility preservation and on all the latest egg cryopreservation techniques by the Institute of Life – IASO team of scientists.

It is a known fact that age significantly affects the fertility of a woman. Nowadays, all the more people are choosing to start a family later on in life, either for professional or for financial reasons. Unfortunately, this life choice often has a negative impact on female fertility. Each woman is born with a specific amount of eggs, which decreases as she ages. This decrease is not linear and becomes more abrupt after a certain age. A healthy young couple has around a 20% chance of conceiving during one cycle. This chance remains at around the same level up to age of 30. After that, it starts decreasing, while after 37, the drop in chances is even more abrupt.

The Fertility Check-up includes: Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), prolactin (PRL), estradiol (E2), Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). It is performed on level -2, IASO Hospital, Monday-Friday 14:00-17:00, without an appointment, and the offer is valid until 31 July 2020.
