Screening tests for Sexually Transmitted Diseases
IASO, with the aim of raising public awareness on sexual health issues, emphasizes on prevention and offers Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) screening tests at preferential prices.
More specifically, it offers the following packages:
- “STDs regular” testing at the preferential price of 40€: It includes Chlamydia, Mycoplasma and Ureaplasma testing
- “STDs plus” testing at the preferential price of 95€: It includes Chlamydia, Ureaplasma, Mycoplasma, Gonorrhea, Haemophilus, Herpes, Syphilis, Trichomoniasis testing
The tests are performed by the PCR method, which provides high sensitivity and specificity, allowing the detection of microorganisms (e.g. certain mycoplasma species and syphilis spirochete) that are not detected by conventional methods.
All tests are performed on the -2 floor of IASO, and they are addressed to both women and men. The offer is valid until 31/10/2018.
