Prevention is crucial since diabetes, reasonably called the ‘sneaky disease’, can, for long periods of time, exhibit no significant symptoms. Its timely diagnosis prevents early vascular aging (EVA) and other serious complications. The scientific team at IASO General’s Diabetes Center comprehensively manages and controls diabetes, closely cooperates with all the rest medical specialties and provides both the patients and their families with all the relevant education upon the disease. So, the message sent is that, nowadays, diabetics can indeed enjoy a normal and problem-free life, as long as they want it!
