IASO, the largest Maternity and Gynecology Clinic in Greece, is paving the way through the establishment of the new Sonographic Fetal Neurology Department, which is headed by Mr. Panagiotis Benardis, Obstetrician - Gynecologist and is one-of-a-kind in Greece and operates within the framework of IASO’s Maternal-Fetal and Perinatal Medicine Department, having Mr. Aristeidis Antsaklis, Professor of Obstetrics / Gynecology at the University of Athens (NKUA), Chairman of IASO’s Scientific Council as Director.

The Department is staffed by a team of experienced and specialized health professionals such as maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, pediatric neurologists, pediatric radiologists and clinical geneticists, who are dedicated to providing high-level healthcare services to the expectant mother and the fetus she’s carrying.

It provides a full range of fetal neurology services, including prenatal diagnostic procedures such as advanced fetal neurosonography, fetal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), consultations with pediatric neurologists and clinical geneticists, and postpartum care. The specialist team utilizes the latest technology and techniques in order to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans for babies with central nervous system disorders diagnosed during pregnancy.
