IASO General Clinic: Hybrid Scientific One-Day Meeting of the Thyroid Surgery Department on the topic "Thyroid Cancer Treatment: Modern Approach"
The Thyroid Surgery Department of IASO General Clinic organizes a Hybrid Scientific One-Day Meeting on the topic "Thyroid Cancer Treatment: Modern Approach", on Saturday, March 19th 2022, at 09:00 a.m., at the IASO Events Hall (37-39 Kifissias Ave, Maroussi).
The Scientific Director of the Conference is Mr. Stavros Tsirigotakis, MD, FACS, General Surgeon, Director of the Thyroid Surgery Department, IASO General Clinic.
The aim of the One-Day Meeting is the briefing of the Doctors - Associates and Health Professionals, in regard to the application of precision medicine in Thyroid Cancer, meaning the personalized diagnosis and suitable surgery for each patient, in order to avoid the incomplete treatment, but also the overtreatment of this disease.
The doctors who will participate in the panel, as well as the speakers, are specialized in Thyroid Cancer and they are distinguished both internationally and in Greece.
Furthermore, distinguished speakers from abroad have been invited, such as Ms. Laura Fugazzola, Professor of Endocrinology, Department of Pathophysiology and Transplantation, University of Milan, Italy, Mr. Paolo Miccoli, Professor of General Surgery, Department of Surgical Pathology, University of Pisa, Italy, Mr. Gabriele Materazzi, Professor of Surgery, University of Pisa, Italy and Ms. Cristina Romei, BCs, PhD, Department of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, Unit of Endocrinology, University of Pisa, Italy, who will present all the latest developments regarding the diagnosis, as well as the treatment of Thyroid Cancer.
