IASO Group won 4 awards for its top-level healthcare services, its investment in new facilities and medical equipment, and its corporate responsibility. The award ceremony took place at the Lolou Multiplex on Wednesday October 2, 2019, attended by more than 500 guests.

The IASO Group received the Gold award for its integrated “By your Side” Corporate Social Responsibility Program, actively meeting the healthcare needs of our fellow citizens. Ms Christina Tampourea, IASO Group Chief Commercial Officer, accepted the award, noting, “We thank the judges’ panel. We thank you all for this very significant and honorary award. When we created ‘By your Side’ a few years ago, we set a target for what you hold most dear, your health. Your own health, and that of your patients, fellow humans and all those who need us. All of us, each on their own, but also together as a unit, must strive for a better future. Our values are words which carry meaning: dignity, responsibility, dedication, care, love, courtesy, respect, all complemented by professionalism. We thank our people, the administrative and nursing staff, who worked both inside the departments and outside, wherever the need arose, our doctors, for we would not have any pro bono surgery or thousands of medical tests without them, and naturally, the man who has always been the driving force behind everything, IASO Group Chairman Georgios Stamatiou.”

IASO received the Silver award in the growth category for its “No. 1 Services in Greece”. The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Breast Center and the Radiation Oncology Center are the largest ones in Greece, keeping the level of healthcare services high and trying to treat a huge volume of cases effectively.

 

IASO received the Bronze Award for its valuable contribution to society.

IASO Children’s Hospital won the Bronze award in the innovation category for the Orthopedic Center, which has been paving the way with the revolutionary treatment for bone elongation in children with anisomelia, giving our young patients access to cutting-edge medical services and state-of-the-art equipment.

A few words about the Corporate Social Responsibility Program “By your Side”

Since 2015, the program has been supporting / working with more than 20 NGOs and associations and has performed over 3,100 pro bono surgical procedures, pro bono deliveries and free-of-charge medical tests and consultations. On each World Health Day, IASO Group is always standing by you with 65 offers and actions, while it has organized over 75 informative lectures for the general public on health issues that affect us. In addition, it is an Official Health Partner at major sporting events. Note that IASO is a Bone Marrow Donor Volunteer Registration Center, supporting the efforts of the Orama Elpidas Association.
