3rd Scientific Meeting titled “Twin Pregnancy Up to Date”
The Department of Fetal Medicine at IASO, in partnership with the Hellenic Society of Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Therapy, is holding the 3rd Scientific Meeting titled “Twin Pregnancy Up to Date” on Saturday 5 May 2018 at 10:00 o’clock, at the Events Hall of IASO, 37-39 Kifissias av., Maroussi.
The Department’s scientific associates and specialized Physicians in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fetomaternal Medicine shall present all the latest advances in the field of Obstetric and Gynecological Ultrasonography, focusing on twin pregnancy. Over the last years, the frequency of twin pregnancy has increased dramatically, due to Assisted Reproduction Techniques-IVF and the increase of average age of pregnant women.
To meet the needs of the Event, apart from the distinguished Greek speakers, we are honored to have Professor Isaac Blickstein, MD, Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Kaplan Medical Center, Israel, Hadassah – Hebrew University School of Medicine, Jerusalem, Israel and Professors Eftichia Kontopoulos, MD, PhD, FACOG, The Fetal Institute, Miami, Florida, USA, and Ruben Quintero, MD, FACOG, The Fetal Institute, Miami, Florida, USA, who shall elaborate on the latest advances in the field of diagnosis, assessment and treatment of pathological twin pregnancies, and especially monozygotic twins (TTTS).
