As of this year, IASO is initiating a series of seminars to be held on an annual basis, oriented to specific subjects to cover current issues in Obstetrics-Gynecology.

The aim of this year’s seminar, to be held on Saturday 21 April from 10:00 to 13:00 at the Events Hall of IASO, is to update Gynecologists on the topical and controversial field of Laser application in Surgery and Cosmetic Gynecology.

Such procedures aim, for the first time, not only in genital aesthetics, but the improvement of a woman’s sexual life. These new Laser applications, particularly appealing to women over the last years, yet a number of official medical associations in the field of Gynecology express their concerns regarding the indications and possible complications induced by such procedures in case they are not performed by specialized medical personnel.

The Seminar’s speakers will specifically go over the indications, capabilities and constraints of laser applications.

The Scientific Director of the seminar is Professor Emmanouil Diakomanolis, Chair of IASO Scientific Board.
