Under the auspices of the Hellenic Cardiological Society (HCS), IASO General’s 2nd Department of Cardiology is organizing the 1st Cardiovascular Diseases Workshop on Friday 2 March 2018, 09.00-17.00, at the Events Hall of the Clinic. The Workshop aims at the accurate and global update on all newer advances in the field of prevention, timely diagnosis and holistic approach to cardiovascular diseases.

The Organizing Committee is chaired by Ms. Evdokia Petropoulou, Cardiologist, PhD awarded by the School of Medicine, University of Athens, Chief of the 2nd Department of Cardiology at IASO General, and Mr. Nektarios Pilatis, Invasive Cardiologist, Chief of the 2nd Department of Cardiology and Scientific Director of the Hemodynamics Lab at IASO General. The Workshop shall be honored by distinguished physicians in various specialties as Chairs and Speakers. The topics to be covered at the Workshop include arrhythmias, coronary disease, valvulopathies and comorbidities in cardiovascular diseases.

The Workshop is addressed to physicians in all specialties, as well as to the public interested in being educated on the disease, given that cardiovascular diseases are the number one leading cause of death in developing countries.

The participation to the Workshop is free of charge, and all participants shall receive a certificate of attendance.
