In collaboration with the Scientific Committees of IASO and IASO General, the Cretan Association of Biomedical Research is organizing the “2nd Post-educational Conference on Therapeutic Advances in Oncology” on Friday 27/01/17 at 11:30 and on Saturday 28/01/2017 at 9:20, at the Events Hall of IASO Clinic (37-39, Kifissias av, Maroussi). The conference is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology, the Hellenic Oncology Research Group, the Hellenic Society of Radiation Oncology, the Hellenic Society of Pathology and the Hellenic Society of Surgical Oncology.

The Chair of the Conference’s Organizing Committee is Mr. Christos Papadimitriou, Professor of Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Athens, and Scientific Consultant at the Department of Medical Oncology at IAS. The Chair of the Scientific Committee is Mr. Evaggelos Maragkoudakis, Chief of the Department of Radiation Oncology at IASO. Top physicians of various medical specialties (oncologists, radiotherapists, gynecologists, pathologists, urologists, hematologists, etc) as well as highly-experienced nursing staff will participate as speakers.

The scope of the Conference is to highlight the significant advances in the field of cancer treatment and to stress the key role of multidisciplinary patient approach, aimed at updating, educating and enforcing the cooperation among IASO Group’s physicians.
