For the fourth consecutive year, IASO General’s 1st Orthopedic Clinic and Department of Rheumatology are holding the 4th Joint Seminar on Orthopedics and Rheumatology in cooperation with the Anatomy Lab of the School of Medicine of the University of Athens (NKUA). The seminar is titled “The close cooperation of physicians on Musculoskeletal System Diseases” and will be held on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 December 2016, from 09:00 to14:00, at IASO General’s Events Hall.

All the newest data on the shared fields of orthopedics and rheumatology shall be presented at the seminar, and issues regarding the autoimmune rheumatology diseases, cervical syndrome, gout and anatomy shall be elaborated.

The Presidents of the Organizing Committee are Mr. Nikolaos Lagios, Orthopedic Surgeon, Chief of the 1st Orthopedics Clinic, Scientifically Responsible for the Department of Orthopedics and Head of the Osteoporosis Office at IASO General, and Ms. Eleni Komninou, Rheumatologist, Scientifically Responsible for the Department of Rheumatology at IASO General and for the Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases and Pregnancy Clinic at IASO.

The speakers at the Seminar shall be distinguished physicians of IASO General from various specialties, as well as Professors of Anatomy at the NKUA. The philosophy of the Seminar is that a symptom or a disease involves the cooperation of various medical specialists, with a strong sense of responsibility towards the patient.
