The IASO Running Team in the 40th Athens Authentic Marathon

The IASO Running Team participated dynamically with a total of 76 athletes, on Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th 2023, in the Authentic Athens Marathon, which completed 40 years! All the IASO Running Team runners reached the end of their route in both the 10km Road Race and the Marathon Race, crossing with emotion the most historic finish line.

The first 3 of our Team in the Marathon Race were:
1. Konstantinos Lolis, Nursing Assistant, IASO General Clinic
2. Argyris Tsoupeis, Technologist – Radiologist, IASO General Clinic
3. Konstantinos Papandreou, Pediatrician, Deputy Director of the 4th Pediatric Clinic, IASO Children's Hospital!

While, in the 10 km Road Race were:
1. Nikitas – Alexandros Skliros, Internist, Director of the 2nd Internal Medicine Clinic, IASO General Clinic
2. Zafiris Manikas, Associate of IASO Children's Hospital
3. Xenofontas Stamatis, IASO Procurement Department!

IASO General Clinic at the 2023 Ladies Run for the 8th consecutive year!

IASO General Clinic, for yet another year, was a Health Partner of the Ladies Run. The all-women event included a 5km running race, which was hosted on Sunday, October 29th, right in front of Astir Beach, inviting the #iasoladiesrunningteam to enjoy the most enchanting seaside route in Athens. The IASO General Clinic team surpassed all previous participations, supporting the race that brings together thousands of ladies, regardless of age or physical condition, for the 8th consecutive year and motivates them to discover their limits, have fun, but also inspire, reaching out to vulnerable groups.

As always, we ran for the women we love and we renew our appointment for next year!

IASO Running Team at the 11th Athens Half Marathon!

The IASO Running Team participated once again this year in the 11th Athens International Half Marathon, in the 21.1 km route and reached the finish line in this world-class celebration of sports with smiles, willpower, persistence, and commitment to the goal! Achieving the goal, however difficult it may be, gives us strength to carry on!

The IASO Running Team at the 39th Athens Authentic Marathon

The IASO Running Team participated in the 39th Athens Authentic Marathon and in the 5km and 10km road races!

More than 50 professional and amateur runners of the IASO Running Team participated in the leading sports event of our country.

Congratulations to the whole team for the effort and participation!

IASO General Clinic was “loudly” present for another year at the 2022 Ladies Run!

IASO General Clinic was the Official Medical Sponsor of the Ladies Run, an exclusive event for women, which includes a 5km running race, but also concurrent actions. It was a special experience for all the women who enjoy running, in the most beautiful spot of the Athens Riviera, giving confidence in the ladies' kilometers! The multi-member #iasoladiesrunningteam participated for the 7th year in the race, with an ambulance with paramedics. This year, it was totally ready again and had a “loud” presence, showcasing the power of women!

The IASO Running Team participated in the 6th No Finish Line Athens

Every kilometer we recorded was turned into into money which will be donated to the "Together for Children" Association. The contribution of the IASO Running Team was significant, with 48 participants and 409 kilometers in total. Nikos Tzoumerkiotis had the best performance, running daily and traversing 160 kilometers, while also reaching the 15th place in the general ranking of the 100hr Charity Run!

We all responded enthusiastically by walking, running, dancing and participating in concurrent activities in this great charity race!

The IASO Running Team at the 10th Athens Half Marathon of 21 km & the 5 km road race!

The IASO Running Team participated in the 10th Athens Half Marathon, which took place on March 20th, 2022 and despite the adverse weather conditions, keeping our appointment, we ran, walked and proudly reached the finish line in this great celebration of sports! But above all, we laughed and had a good time, strengthening the #iasoteam and the #iasofamily even more!

The IASO Running Team at the 38th Athens Authentic Marathon

The IASO Running Team, IASO Group’s new team, participated in the 38th Athens Authentic Marathon, which took place on Sunday, November 14th 2021. We walked, we ran, we laughed and at the end of the race we all pledged that the as the team grows, so will the distance we’ll traverse together! Congratulations to our team’s first three winners: Giorgos Panagiotaros, Antonis Kakaniaris and Christina Rita!

• The IASO Team has been participating in the Ladies Run since 2016.
• IASO participated in the 42nd Road Race of the Municipality of Filothei-Psychiko, where the medical and nursing staff, with a fully equipped ambulance, ensured the safety of the runners.
• IASO Thessalias supported with specialized medical staff the Panhellenic Judo Championship which took place in Larissa on February 2nd-3rd, 2019. Moreover, IASO Thessalias supported the big sports event "Together we run for children with chronic diseases" that took place on 29 /9/2019, in Larissa.
• IASO Thessalias supported the big sports event "Together we run for children with chronic diseases" that took place on Sunday, September 30th, 2018, in Larissa. In addition, it participated in the 4th Panthessal youth football tournament under the name "Score for the Smile of the Child" of the association "The Smile of the Child", from June 1st to 3rd, 2018, at the AEL FC Arena.
• IASO supported the 6th World Championship in Athletics, which was held under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and took place at the Olympic Stadium from August 1st to August 10th, 1997. The event was attended by 1,882 athletes from 198 participating countries.

ENDOMARCH Greece RUN/WALK
