IASO’s 2nd Breast Clinic: Series of Scientific Events with Invited Speakers from all around the world on "Breast Cancer Management"
IASO’s 2nd Breast Clinic organizes the series of Scientific Events "The Expert’s Thesis" in relation to “Breast Cancer Management”, for the 2022 Scientific Year, in which invited speakers from all around the world will participate.
The 2nd Seminar will take place on Friday, September 23th, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., at IASO Hospital’s Event Hall (37-39 Kifissias Ave, Maroussi). The speakers will be Mr. James Geraghty, Consultant Breast Surgeon at St. Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland, associate Professor of Surgery, University College Dublin, Ireland, having as his speech topic: "The National Breast Screening Program in Ireland. Lessons Learned and Future Prospects Internationally" and Ms. Loukia Poulou, MD, MSc, PhD, European Board Certified, Diagnostic Radiologist, having as her speech topic: “Current screening trials around the globe based on different modalities".
The Scientific Director is Mr. Grigorios Xepapadakis, MD, PhD, Breast Surgeon, Director of IASO’s 2nd Breast Clinic and Mr. Lazaros Papadopoulos, MD, Breast Surgeon, Attending Physician of IASO’s 2nd Breast Clinic, ESO Ambassador, will serve as Μoderator.
The aim of the Scientific Event is the continuous medical training, the briefing about the latest data with regard to Breast Cancer Management, as well as the promotion of research. Today, the continuing training and briefing of new and older colleagues is more valuable than ever.
The Seminar is addressed to breast surgeons, gynecologists, radiologists, oncologists, ultrasound specialists and clinicians, with basic and advanced knowledge on breast conditions, while also the participation and attendance is free-of-charge.
The doctors may attend the Event in person as well as via Live Streaming. The registration for the online attendance of the Seminar is free-of-charge.
