IASO: IBUS Multimodality Breast Imaging and Image-guided Interventions Course
The IBUS Multimodality Breast Imaging and Image-guided Interventions Course will take place for the 12th year in Greece and will be held from Thursday, June 16th to Saturday June 18th, at the IASO Events Hall, in Maroussi.
The IBUS Course is organized by "E.M.E.I.S." (Scientific Society of Mastology–Treatment and Support) and the IBUS Breast Imaging School and it includes high-quality educational presentations from members of the international and domestic academic community, as well as hands-on practical workshops. The scientific director of the Course is Mr. Grigorios Xepapadakis, M.D., Ph.D., Breast Surgeon, Director of the 2nd Breast Clinic of the IASO Breast Center.
The IBUS Breast Imaging School has been established as the leading international provider of breast imaging training, providing educational programs which cover all aspects of diagnostic and image-guided interventions. High-quality presentations and hands-on practical workshops in order to gain experience, are included in the IBUS seminars. Since 1991, more than 120 seminars have been conducted through programs, in Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America.
The aim of the course is to improve the breast imaging standards for the assessment of its pathology, covering the field of ultrasound imaging, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging and other recent and evolving examination techniques. Furthermore, in the context of the practical workshop, the participants will attend a live surgery with the use of intraoperative ultrasound. The course is addressed to breast surgeons, gynecologists, radiologists, oncologists, ultrasound specialists and clinicians with basic and advanced knowledge in regard to breast conditions.
