All diagnostic and therapeutic techniques are performed in the Department of Interventional Radiology under a CT scanner.

The whole range of solid organ biopsies is covered, such as lung, liver, kidney, swollen lymph node, soft tissue, bone biopsies, as well as fluid taking for cytological examination.

Therapeutic procedures include placement of drainage catheters in pleural effusions, lung and liver abscesses, as well as placement of ascites drainage catheters.

All modern thermal cauterization techniques of benign tumors, primary or metastatic tumors, are performed in all solid organs.
