Large number of volunteers at the IASO Thessalias Blood Drive

The Blood Drive organized by IASO Thessalias on Wednesday 2 February 2022, in partnership with the onsite Mobile Blood Unit of the General Hospital of Larissa, was hugely successful.

Strictly following all the personal protective measures against COVID-19, volunteer blood donors – staff and doctors – responded once again to the call for blood, participating in the effort to address the huge social problem of blood shortages, with a sense or awareness and respect for human life.

IASO Thessalias would like to sincerely thank all the volunteer blood donors for participating, surpassing previous events in numbers. As a result, the General Hospital of Larissa blood bank was reinforced with an additional 39 units of blood.

As part of its social policy, especially in these tough times due to the pandemic, IASO Thessalias will continue devoting its efforts for the common good and for helping our fellow citizens in need.
