Magnetic Resonance Imaging

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging department has a modern 1.5 Tesla Siemens MRI scanner with rapid inclined fields, which result in a reduction of examination time.

The machine’s open design allows comfortable examination for patients. It is equipped with special noise reduction software and patients can listen to their favorite radio station or music during the examination.

Patients with orthopedic materials and other implants can be safely examined after consultation with the staff.

The following examinations are supported in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging department:

• Conventional MRI scans: Central nervous system, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, musculoskeletal system, soft tissue, children's medical tests
• Gynecological exams: Breast MRI, fast breast MRI, multiparametric pelvic MRI.
• Male-specific examinations: Multiparametric prostate gland MRI for detecting space-occupying lesions.
• Magnetic resonance angiography: : (Brain, neck, pulmonary arteries, abdominal aorta)
• Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography
• Diffusion MRI: Screening for the detection of space-occupying lesions.
