With the aim of informing the public about the latest developments in urology and the treatment possibilities offered by modern medical technology, IASO Thessalias organized a scientific event under the auspices of the Trikala Medical Association “Asclepius”, entitled “Innovative Treatments in Urology: Robotic Surgery and Laser Applications at IASO Thessalias.” The event took place in Trikala and was open to the public. 

During the event, specialists from the 1^st Urology Department of IASO Thessalias presented the latest advances in urology, focusing on modern diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, robotic surgery, laser applications and personalized patient care. 

Nikolaos Kolitsas, Urologist, discussed “Prostate Cancer: From Diagnosis to Treatment,” while Dimitrios Karagiannis, Deputy Director of the 1^st Urology Department, presented contemporary minimally invasive approaches for the treatment of urinary stone disease. Konstantinos Skriapas, Director of the 1^st Urology Department, reviewed the latest laser technologies and their applications in modern urological practice. 

The event formed part of IASO Thessalias’ ongoing commitment to public education and community outreach, highlighting how advanced technologies such as robotic surgery and laser treatments are transforming the management of urological conditions by offering greater precision, reduced surgical trauma and faster recovery for patients.
