Guidelines for Visitors & Attendants
In line with Health & Safety Regulations and following the recommendation of the Infection Control Committee, the following rules apply:
Visits – Attendants
- Only one (1) attendant or visitor per patient is allowed, with the option of rotation.
- Face masks
are mandatory ONLY
in the following cases:
- For immunocompromised patients (Oncology / Hematology)
- In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- In the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
General Rules
- Compliance with hygiene protocols is mandatory in all hospital areas.
- The use of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited throughout the Hospital.
- Children under 14 years old are not allowed in patient wards.
- During medical visits, nursing procedures, protective measures, or patient rest time, attendants and visitors must remain in the floor lounge and not inside patient rooms.
- Visitors are not allowed in patient rooms during breastfeeding or meal times.
- In Maternity / Gynecology wards with shared rooms, attendants of the opposite sex are not permitted during the night shift.
- Toilets in patient rooms are strictly for patient use. Visitors and attendants may use the designated public restrooms available on each floor.
