The Pediatric ENT Surgery Department at IASO Thessalias provides specialized diagnosis and surgical treatment of ear, nose and throat conditions in children and adolescents, with care adapted to the specific needs of each age group. 

Conditions treated include: 

• enlarged tonsils and adenoids 
• recurrent ear infections and middle ear disorders 
• conditions of the nose and paranasal sinuses 
• breathing, voice and swallowing disorders 
• congenital conditions of the head and neck 
• foreign bodies in the ear, nose and upper airway. 

When clinically indicated, surgical procedures may include tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, insertion of ventilation tubes and frenotomy, as well as other procedures depending on the child’s needs. 

Collaboration with pediatric and surgical specialties, together with the Hospital’s supporting services, allows coordinated care for more complex cases.
