The 24-Hour Pediatric Surgery Outpatient Clinic at IASO Thessalias provides immediate assessment and treatment of urgent pediatric surgical cases in children and adolescents, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Cases treated include:

  • injuries and accidents
  • wounds and lacerations
  • acute abdominal pain
  • acute appendicitis 
  • hernias and acute conditions of the inguinal region
  • acute conditions of the genitourinary system
  • burns 
  • other conditions requiring immediate pediatric surgical assessment. 

When further investigation or surgical treatment is required, children have immediate access to laboratory and imaging services, operating theatres and the Hospital’s supporting facilities, ensuring continuity of care.
