For the fourth consecutive year, IASO Thessalias participated in Run for Autism Larissa 2026, an event that transformed the city into a celebration of sport, inclusion and social awareness. As the event’s Health Supporter, IASO Thessalias joined thousands of participants in promoting a more open and inclusive society for all. 

Employees and physicians of IASO Thessalias actively participated in the 5-kilometre race, while Panagiotis Christoforou once again achieved the fastest finish among the hospital’s team members. 

The hospital also played a key role in the medical coverage of the event, providing an ambulance and specialized healthcare personnel throughout the race. Cardiologists Melina Dalapascha, Director of the Cardiology Department, and Prodromos Rigalidis, Cardiologist at the 1st Cardiology Department, were present to provide medical support whenever required, contributing to the safe and successful completion of the event.
