IASO Children’s Hospital: Laboratory Seminar “Basic Principles of Evaluation and Therapeutic Intervention for Infants with Developmental Disorders Aged 0-18 Months”

The Laboratory Seminar on the topic “Basic Principles of Evaluation and Therapeutic Intervention for Infants with Developmental Disorders Aged 0-18 Months”, will be held on January 29th – February 1st, 2026, between 09:00 and 17:00, at IASO Hospital’s Event Hall.
The seminar is organized by the Physiotherapy Department of IASO Children’s Hospital in collaboration with the Education Department of RehabCare.
The seminar aims to train healthcare professionals in recognizing, evaluating, and supporting infant development. It includes both theoretical and practical parts, with lectures and laboratory training, aiming to provide participants with comprehensive clinical reasoning and practical skills.
Through a practical and experiential framework, participants will have the opportunity to:
- recognize the consequences of NICU stay on the sensorimotor behavior of premature newborns
- identify deviations observed in newborns and infants aged 0–18 months
- specify therapeutic goals
- formulate a therapeutic intervention program
- guide parents in adapting therapeutic principles to the infant’s daily care
