The One-Day Conference on the topic: “Ask the Experts: Sleep Disorders Affecting Newborns, Infants, Children, and Adolescents Today” will be held on Saturday, June 20^th, 2026, at 09:00, at IASO Hospital’s Event Hall.

The conference is dedicated to the scientific approach to sleep disorders in neonates, infants, children and adolescents. Sleep is a fundamental pillar of physical, cognitive, and emotional development. However, the latest insights show that sleep disorders are becoming increasingly common, significantly affecting the quality of life of children and their families.

During the conference, the mechanisms that influence sleep in infants, children, and adolescents, along with common phenomena such as snoring and sleep-related breathing disorders, as well as the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches applied in clinical practice will be analyzed. At the same time, more complex clinical conditions requiring interdisciplinary management will be discussed.

The conference adopts an interdisciplinary approach, with the participation of somnologists, pediatricians, ENT doctors, pediatric pulmonologists, pediatric neurologists, plastic and maxillofacial surgeons, speech therapists, and physiotherapists.

The aim of the one-day conference is to provide evidence-based scientific information, foster the exchange of knowledge among healthcare professionals, and offer clear and practical answers to parents. The seminar is addressed to pediatricians, primary healthcare professionals, and parents seeking reliable, science-based information. It is a noteworthy initiative that aspires to offer comprehensive scientific insight into sleep disorders during childhood and adolescence.
