The IBUS Multimodality Breast Imaging and Image-guided Interventions Course will run from Thursday 6 June to Saturday 8 June, at the IASO Events Hall, 37-39 Kifisias Avenue, Marousi.

The IBUS Course is organized by EMEIS (Scientific Society of Mastology – Treatment and Support) and the IBUS Breast Imaging School, and supported by the European School of Oncology (ESO). It includes quality educational presentations by members of the domestic and international academic community, as well as hands-on practice.

The IBUS International Breast Imaging School is the leading educational institute for breast imaging, offering training courses that cover all the aspects of diagnostic and image-guided procedures.

The IBUS course includes quality lectures and hands-on experience. More than 120 seminars have been conducted since 1991, through courses held in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America.

The course aims to improve the breast imaging standards for assessing breast pathologies, encompassing the fields of ultrasound, mammography, MRI, and other newer and developing screening techniques. As part of the hands-on practice, participants will watch live broadcasts involving ultrasound-guided surgeries.

The course is addressed to breast surgeons, gynecologists, radiologists, oncologists, ultrasound specialists and clinical physicians with basic and advanced knowledge of breast conditions.

The Scientific Heads of the course are Mr. Grigoris Xepapadakis, MD, PhD, breast surgeon and Chief of the IASO 2nd Breast Clinic, and Mr. Enzo Durante, Professor of General Surgery, University of Ferrara, Italy.
